I was really looking forward to celebrating our anniversary at this resort, especially after seeing the photos online, but it ended up being quite disappointing. The location by the river is lovely, and the grounds are nice, but the room was extremely basic and uncomfortable. The dining experience was unfortunately poor, with awful food. While there are some good amenities, the overall experience left much to be desired.

The room I had was a bit on the small side, which was a downside. However, the breakfast the next morning was a great highlight, along with the lovely setting near the Thames. Overall, it was a memorable stay despite the cramped room.
